Hi, I’m Valerie and I’ve spent the last several years hiking and taking photos all over the Pacific Northwest! I’ve found so many stunning outdoor spots to share and ensure you have jaw-dropping wedding photos!
Like many others my own wedding was greatly affected by Covid-19 in 2020. When we decided to not have our planned wedding with lots of family and friends, we pivoted to a small outdoor wedding with 10 guests in my parents yard. And honestly, it was better than I ever could have imagined! We dressed up, had a nice meal, cut the cake, and were able to spend an entire evening surrounded by just family, hanging out and enjoying each others company. There was no rush, no deadlines, and minimal stress. It was truly the best day of my life and I want others to be able to experience the same sort of day
I am originally from Indiana but currently live in Oregon and spend every weekend exploring the outdoors. I’ve taken several road trips across the United States, seen everything from Maine to California, and have visited over a dozen National Parks! I recently took a van trip around Iceland and am always looking for opportunities abroad!
I would describe my style as candid and true to life. I want my photos to closely resemble what your day truly looked and more importantly felt like. I have five years of experience with a camera as well as experience hiking, backpacking, traveling, and exploring the outdoors!
I am a huge advocate for Leave No Trace, and will make sure that any photos we take are not to the detriment of the landscape, and ensure we follow all local permit requirements!
