Hi, I’m Valerie and I’ve spend the last several years hiking and taking photos all over the Pacific Northwest! I’ve found so many stunning outdoor spots to share and ensure you have jaw-dropping wedding photos!

My style of photography is candid and natural. I love to create lasting memories for couples in the outdoors where they feel most comfortable!

If I’m not hiking, backpacking, or traveling, I’m at home hanging out with my husband, cat, and dog.

When you book with me, I’m there not just on your wedding day, but for the entire planning leading up. I’ll help you decide your location and secure any permits you need beforehand. It is also extremely important to me that we follow all Leave No Trace principles and make sure we leave the environment exactly how we found it.

Reserve your Date! Guarantee your date with a 50% retainer and contract signing.

Start Planning! I’ll send over a questionnaire and we’ll start planning the perfect location and timeline.

Get Married! Whether it’s on a mountain top, oceanside cliffs, or deep in the forest, you’ll have the best day ever that is completely you.

Relive your day! Within a week of your wedding day I’ll send over a sneak peek of images, and your entire gallery is delivered within 8 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it an elopement if our family comes?

Elopement or micro wedding, whatever you want to call it, you can invite as many or as few people as you want. Most hiking elopements are required to stay under 20 guests due to Leave Not Trace and local requirements.

Do we have to hike far?

Nope! There are tons of beautiful places that require minimal or no hiking at all!

Our dream location requires a long hike, how do we do that?

I will hike as far as you want, we can even backpack there! Long hikes typically require the attire to be packed up and then you change at the top!
